Welcome to the workshop of Sulia M, image consultant!
To introduce myself, I am Sulia Mbula, a professional fashion designer and image consultant.
I can work with and alongside you to make you radiant, divine, fresher, rejuvenated....
I can also offer you custom advice based on your own personal dress style.

My Professional Journey
Inspired by my aunt Josephine, I've been passionate about making my own clothes since my early childhood.
I stitched and sewed my first dress by hand, a yellow African-style wrap skirt, at the age of eight. The first time it was worn it came half unstitched; what an embarrassment!!!!
My father said angrily at the time: “Tailors don't earn enough to afford their own houses.” This was a common saying back then.
Nevertheless, and to my great surprise, my mother presented me with a sewing machine when I got married.
I also went to school to learn how to express and give shape to my ideas. I spent time at the Lycée Wima and Athénée de Bagira high schools in Bukavu, the Université du Mans in France, and finally, Esmod Paris, which I initially attended as a self-taught student due to my status as a mother of young children.
This was followed by training as a custom and industrial pattern designer/maker at the Greta du Choletais fashion school in Cholet, France, where I studied industrial and flat machine sewing.
I then set myself up as a freelancer in 2007, and it’s through this that I was able to take advantage of various advanced training courses provided by Afma (a French professional crafts association).
Image coaching came as a complete revelation to me: better late than never!!!!!
My passion and desire to learn gave me the chance to join Coach ‘n Look Paris 4 to become an image consultant.
Am I rich? I would say so, through the love I have for what I do: namely fashion, but more broadly, image consultancy, which is about helping you to love and appreciate your appearance and, ultimately, the person you are.
My promise: to listen carefully to you and do everything I can to ensure your complete satisfaction!
This is how I’ll be able to build the final house of my late father, the tribal chief of the village of Sungwe-sanza
(Mwenga is in the western part of the Democratic Republic of Congo).
